Further Information
Dancing will go from 7pm until 11:30, starting with "Not your typical beginner session". Dances will be taught at a beginner level, but the dances will be unfamiliar to even most of the advanced dancers. This is to encourage all levels to come and learn together. Later on in the night more advanced dances will be taught, including debkas and partners. Circle, couple, and line sets will all be short (around three dances each) to allow everyone a chance to dance and people without partners to stay until the end.
My goal is to provide an outlet for all of the underplayed dances. There are many dances that were either never taught, taught but dropped, replaced by a different choreography to the same song, or just too complicated for a normal session. These are exactly the dances that I want to bring back.
