| About Hila Mukdasi Jerusalemite Hila Mukdasi is a dance leader with over 20 years of experience in folk dancing, including training in Jewish communities around the world. Winner of the "Discovery of the Year" award (Israeli Folk Dance Awards, July 2018), she is a graduate of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem with a bachelor's degree in sociology-anthropology and linguistics. Hila is the founder of "Komuna", the first specifically focussed folk-dance organisation for young people. Komuna promotes itself as offering the following: - quality Israeli culture with a varied repertoire and fine Israeli music. - a rich social gathering to make new friends and expand your social circles - a healthy lifestyle to strengthen the body on a weekly basis Komuna now offers 2 weekly sessions, one in Jerusalem, one in Tel Aviv. We warmly welcome Hila to Australia later in 2023 to share her great spirit and dancing experience with us. |
