The dance "Hine Shana Overet" was created during 2002. Says Oren: “The special nice voices of the “Dudaim” duo was a great inspiration to me and encouraged me to create a special dance to it”. The dance was a big success in Israel and it is taught in many places in Israel and in some of the countries that Oren teaches in internationally. In the last few years Oren has performed his dances in the "Carmiel Folk Dancing Festival competitions". In the last few years Oren was send to a variety of countries ( Russia, U.S.A, Europe etc.) to teach his own dances. The dance “Kesem Halili” was created during 2003 and won the first stage in “CARMELIADA” (the most loved dance in the crowd) at the Carmiel Festival 2003. Oren says: “The first time I heard this melody I remembered elements dances from groups from Europe (Hungary, Ireland) that I saw in one of my trips to a festival in Germany. 22 groups from Europe participated in this festival and Israel won the Second stage. The name of the group was “Hora Nahariya” and I was the soloist of this group." |
